Dates: Sunday, January 21 - 27, 2026
Location: San Francisco, California
Who: Undergraduate SEAS Concentrators

About:

Launch your venture in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley or Boston? Join the Grid’s undergraduate TechTrek for a week on the ground in late January to get a real insider’s low-down on the Bay Area’s tech venturing scene.

We will dig in with Harvard alumni venture capitalists; seed-, A- and big-tech companies; and recent Harvard founders; Plus, we plan to crash the community and dine with residents at residential hack houses and what are quintessential and informal pop-up hangouts where relationships, new ideas, and new connections seed and germinate.

There will be pre-reads and homework while on the ground, and each explorer will present their take on a company or VC we meet. Of course, we will play tourist for a day to get a sense of the SanFran cultural vibe. You bring your curiosity and appetite to critically dive into what makes the Bay Area the other most deeply concentrated entrepreneurial spot on the planet. Bring a toothbrush, too. Comb optional.
