Want to change the world with your applied AI?
You have come to the right place. The Grid Applied AI Incubator (A2I2) will select ten adventuring SEAS concentrators who wish to pursue their AI-enabled ideas and smother them with a few cloud credits and a lot of precision mentoring and support with a chance at the end to pitch to a large audience of investors and entrepreneurs who might choose to work with you to take your ideas further.
Undergraduate SEAS concentrators who demonstrate clear commitment to flesh out models and build applied AI models during and alongside their Fall term studies are invited to apply. A2I2 is not for the venture-curious. There are many other paths for that. Rather, A2I2 is for SEAS concentrators who wish to build a viable model that can attract partners at the end of the Fall term, build further into a commercial prototype or pilot in the Spring, and, with great momentum, launch full time with a team into summer.
What is Applied AI?
Applied AI boosts availability, increases accuracy, reduces costs, enables smarter decisions, and allows computers to execute increasingly complex tasks—learning and improving over time. In other words: it reshapes how we interact with everything around us.
Over 8 weeks, ten students will transform their bold ideas into business models, and maybe working prototypes:
Each team will receive $2,500 in AWS cloud credits to begin building their prototype.
Funding and Credits

Expert Mentors
Customer discovery, optimizing LinkedIn, prototyping/tech|hack, pitching (expect 2-3 hrs/week)
Accelerating Workshops
Access to VCs, Harvard Faculty, industry partners, and serial entrepreneurs.
Network Expansion
Pitch in front of investors, entrepreneurs, and other professionals to meet someone(s) who can help you take your ideas further plus for a chance to win $15K or one of two $10K prizes in AWS credits to accelerate your venture in the Spring
