David Cohen-Tanugi, Ph.D. is a senior product leader specialized in IoT, data science, and clean energy. He has over a decade of experience in technology development and commercialization. David is the co-founder and Chief Data Officer of Embr Labs, a wellness tech company with over 100,000 customers. David received his Ph.D. from MIT’s Department of Materials Science & Engineering in 2015, where he leveraged computational methods to investigate the potential of next-generation water desalination membranes made from graphene. His research was listed among the Top Five Most Surprising Scientific Discoveries of 2012 by Smithsonian. David has been recognized by Forbes’ 30 Under 30 award as well as MIT Technology Review’s French Innovators Under 35 award.
