Christian Reimer, PhD, Co-Founder and Head of Product at HyperLight

HyperLight, a VC-funded startup out of Laboratory for Nanoscale Optics at Harvard University, is specialized on integrated lithium niobate technologies for ultra-high performance photonic solutions. The company is building ultra-efficient optical circuits to de-bottleneck data centers and telecom networks. Their devices set new benchmarks for performance, including extraordinary speed and efficiency, that will expand the standards across industries. The startup utilizes integrated photonics by developing a proprietary platform based on thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) on insulator. With applications across telecommunication infrastructures, data centers, sensors, and even secure quantum communications, this light circuit technology promises to expand performance standards across industries.
