Dr. Ahmed Kerwan graduated from the University of Oxford and King's College London with prizes and distinctions before starting as an NHS Academic Medical Doctor and Clinical Supervisor at the University of Cambridge where his research spanned Covid, surgery, and health economics. As a Frank Knox Fellow, he earned a MPH in Health Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is the founder and CEO of Taxo AI, a YC-backed healthcare automation company that recently raised $5 million in seed funding from investors including General Catalyst and Character. Taxo leverages its proprietary AI "reasoning engine" called Apex™ to automate time-consuming administrative tasks in healthcare so providers can focus on patient care rather than paperwork.
