About the event
The Lab-to-Launch Lounge (LLL) series brings former Harvard graduate students in CXO roles back to campus to hear how they launched their research out from Harvard labs. Hear how HKS and SEAS alums joined forces to create Metalmark, a company to make indoor spaces healthier.
Bios
Sissi Liu PhD | CEO and Co-founder of Metalmark. Dr. Sissi Liu is passionate about solving complex societal problems with cutting-edge technology. She has 20 years of experience in climate tech and sustainability, entrepreneurship, and venture investing. Sissi co-founded and is CEO of Metalmark Innovations to tackle the global air pollution crisis and related challenges of climate change.
Tanya Shirman PhD | VP of Materials and Co-founder of Metalmark. Dr. Tanya Shirman is a chemist and material scientist with over a decade of experience leading multidisciplinary R&D teams. Her expertise extends to nano-structured materials design and synthesis for catalytic and air-purification applications, translating transformative technologies from lab to market.
